Various nuclear analytical methods have been developed and applied to determine the elemental composition of calcified tissues. PIGE analysis was used to determine fluoride depth profiles in human deciduous tooth enamel for 3 experimental groups that used fluoride containing dentifrice. In order to compare the fluoride contents among fluoride containing dentifrice group, fluoride dentifrice technique group, and fluoride dentifrice and mouth rinse group, the experiment was continued for 6 months.. There was no significant differences in the content of fluoride at the 0.26mm depth from sound surfaces of deciduous tooth among fluoride containing dentifrice group, fluoride dentifrice technique group, and fluoride dentifrice and mouth rinse group(P>0.05). There was no significant differences in the content of fluoride at the 0.631= depth from sound surfaces of deciduous tooth among fluoride containing dentifrice group, fluoride dentifrice technique group, and fluoride dentifrice and mouth rinse group(P>0.05). There was no significant differences in the content of fluoride at the 2.5mm depth from sound surfaces of deciduous tooth among fluoride containing dentifrice group, fluoride dentifrice technique group, and fluoride dentifrice and mouth rinse group(P>0.05).
